NC-2009 PIf2:Project Summary Details

Emergency Generator

In our new facility we have an emergency generator that runs on diesel. If this is the case...on PIf2 should "fuel oil" be checked on the form under energy and water sources, even though its not for normal operation?

Nicole, Since you don't include the emergency generator in your energy model, there's no need to report that energy source in PIf2.

thanks Kimberly! For the same PIf2 form, the definition of "Hardscape" is this all new and existing pavement, concrete pads, etc. Or only new?

This includes all the hardscape in your LEED project boundary, both existing and new.

Since any emergency generators are not including in PI or the Energy model, is it also then correct that an emergency cooling system including refriderant fluids, ddoes not need to be included in the Enhanced Refriderigant credit?
