The building has a total parking capacity of 500 spaces. The project team decides to install EVSE in parking spaces reserved for plug-in electric vehicles and calculates the required spaces: 500 x .05 = 25 plug-in spaces.
Therefore, in the project where one charger (Level 2 charging capacity) has two cables, the LEED would require total of 13 charging stations (two cars can be plugged in at once).
