For Pursing the option-1. In house IPM Policy: is it mandatory to use the SF Tier-III Pesticide or use government approved pesticide.

The San Francisco Hazard Review Process is the referenced standard for this credit. Only Tier III pesticides are considered least-toxic, but it's not mandatory to use 100% Tier III products. Take a look at the IPM Plan template for all the credit requirements and the situations in which non-Tier III products would be okay to apply: www.usgbc.org/resources/eqc-integrated-pest-management-plan-template. There's also this handy online tool that you can use to find compliant Tier III products: www.usgbc.org/resources/pri-pesticide-product-evaluator
