EAP2 and EA1 appeal

my EAP2 was awarded but EA1 was denied. I would like to appeal for 10 points of EA1. What should I do? Do i need to apeal for both credits or i just appeal for EAP2 not EA1 since the main template is in EAP2. Would the CB will know my intention to get the point in EAP2? In this case, what about the appealing fee? Do i need to pay only 800 dollars or 1600 dollars? is it possible to pay for only 800 in this case? thanks

We have a similar situation but in our case we need to appeal both credits. My understanding is that you would only appeal EAc1 and the fee would be $800. In our case appealing both will still only cost $800 becuase if we resolve the issues with EAc1 that will also resolve the issues with EAp2 (which in our case have to do with details of the modeling methodology). Cheers!

As counter-intuitive as it sounds you appeal EAp2. This is especially important if you are pursuing any of the other linked EA credits (EAc2, EAc6). If you are not pursuing any of the linked credits you could just appeal EAc1 and the reviewer will figure it out. EAp2/EAc1 are always bundled together and the fee for an appeal of both or either one separately is $800.

What i will do is submit the EAc1 for appealing and add all the EAp2 documents (sim results+template) as attached documents. Then system should charge me for only 800 dollars. What about EAc6? can I submit everything by using EAc1 channel and attaching EAp2 + EAc6 documents along with it. This means it will charge 800 dollars for 3 credits. would it be possible? thanks

Sounds like you submitted EAc6 already? If you had EAc6 denied because EAc1 could not be determined then I am not certain if you have to pay to appeal it separately, probably. If there was another issue with EAc6 then you would definitely have to pay for an appeal.

We did submit for EAc6 and got denied for the reason "the energy saving of EAc1 could not be determined". in this case, do we need to pay for the appealing fee?

You may not as the review of EAc6 is very easy and minimally time consuming. Since it directly related to the EAc1 results they might do it for no additional fee. Ask GBCI to confirm.
