NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performance

EAP2 after the fact

Hi, Is it possible to revise and resubmit for additional points in credit EAp2 after substantial project completion? I am involved in a project that will have a very efficient chiller installed on site but this was unable to be fully reflected in the EAp2 proposed energy model during design phase because the manufacture was unable to provide requested part load performance data. I believe monitoring the chiller performance on site and then incorporating the measured part load performance into the energy model would result in an additional point under EAc1. Does anyone know if this would be allowed by LEED and the procedures involved? FYI the project is not seeking M&V credits. Matt

If you are doing a split submission you can resubmit this credit in the construction preliminary review phase. Actually you are required to change your energy model if anything happened during construction to change the modeling results.
