I have a client who has chosen to meet MPR#6 by selecting Option 2: USGBC Approved Data Template. Is it possible to earn the 1 point under EAc5 option 3 without asking the client to change their previous decision? Can submitting energy and water use data to Hightail - Uplink via the USGBC Approved Data Template satisfy option 3 and make our project elegible for the 1 point, or is the point more about giving the USGBC full access to energy and water use at any they choose, verses the semi-annual USGBC request for the Approved Data Template? Thank you in advance. I read that changing the PIf1 is not a problem via Sheryl's question above (below) which is good to know as our PIf1 was approved at Design Review as well.

No. They have to select Option 1 to earn the point for EAc5.

Marcus,
Thank you for your quick reply. I presumed the answer would be "No" but I had to confirm before approaching the client. I appreciate having confirmation come from a LEED Fellow, like yourself, to back me up!
