We're working on a large retail mall project and are unsure about the best information to use for ARC input regarding visit duration.
The challenge is that predicting visitor dwell time within the building is difficult.
We do have car park entry and exit records showing visit duration. However, can we reliably use this data to represent all visitors, including those who don't use parking?
If this strategy isn't appropriate, any alternative information for ARC visit duration input? Alternatively, is there a default value we can use?

I think that using the car park would be a reasonable data set to determine an average visit time. What would likely increase the reliability of that data, is the percentage that the car park accounts for total parking. If it accounts for a significant amount, than it is reasonable to conclude that non-car park visitors duration of visit is similar as long as the characteristics of who use the car park are identical to those who do not.
