I am working on a project which plans to use the Downstream Defender by Hydro International to achieve 80% TSS of stormwater. The literature with the product says it treats 50% of TSS. Other literature by Washington Dept of Ecology states it treats 80% of all TSS over 125 microns. Per LEED credit language, 'infield performance monitoring data demonstrating compliance with the criteria' can be used. Data must conform to accepted protocol (e.g., Technology Acceptance Reciprocity Partnership [TARP], Washington State Department of Ecology) for BMP monitoring." I am assuming we will be able to meet the credit requirements, but just wanted to confirm. Anyone have experience with these units for LEED projects?
