We would like to register a factory building in Bangladesh. Th built up area of factory building is 2 lakh SFT, Ground level only. In the same campus, 20 feet away, we have a dormitory building of 20000 SFT. Can we include this building within LEED project boundary as support building for the main factory building in single project registration. Kindly advice.

Hello Abdul,
For this project, you will want to look at the LEED Campus Guide http://www.usgbc.org/resources/leed-campus-guidance
You can certify these two buildings together using a Group or Campus approach, but there are conditions spelled out in the Guide that must be met, including that each building must independently meet the Minimum Program Requirements and LEED prerequisites. Assuming these conditions are met, the Guide provides useful approaches to gain efficiency in certifying multiple buildings on a campus or compound. If these conditions are not met, each of these buildings would need to be certified independently within its own LEED project boundary. I wish you well with your project.
