CS-v4 EAc1:Enhanced commissioning

Documentation upload to LEED Online

We are just getting ready to submit LEED CI V4 commissioning documents, and I noticed that it only requests that we upload the table of contents for both the Final Cx Report and Ongoing Commissioning Plan. I also noticed we don't have to submit the Systems Manual. I recall ALWAYS having to upload the entire thing in the older LEED version. Just wondering if they really mean that, or can we expect to get a request the entire document during the review? Just wondering if it might be better to upload more than requested......in attempt to minimize comments. Also - second question. My projects are in China and so much of our documentation is in Chinese (because the GC and facility staff don't speak english). We have the Cx Report and Ongoing Cx Plan in English, etc, but functional tests are in chinese. Do we need to do bilingual on those?

We have been successful only uploading the Training Plan and table of contents from the Ongoing Commissioning Plan. LEED reviewers don't have the time to read through large documents when completing a review. If the reviewer cannot confirm all the requirements have been met from the limited uploads they may ask for additional information. As you mentioned, it would be your safest approach to upload the entire Ongoing Commissioning Plan to preclude possible review comments. Many of our projects are international and we struggle with translations as well. For commissioning we only fully translate the executive summary, all other documents are kept in the native language. If the report looks suspicious, or incomplete, to the LEED reviewer they may ask for a representative sample of translated documents. Hope this helps!
