Hi,
I'm working on a renovation project, in Core & Shell. Concerning the different meters, some of them are existing meters.
How do we have to consider those existing meters ?
Must we just ensure the meters meet the defined characteristics (data recording, storing, etc.) ?
Concerning the documentation that we have to produce, must we give the manufacturer's cutsheets for the existing meters, in addtion to the installed meters ?
Thanks for your answers.

If you are utilizing the existing meters to meet the credit requirements then yes you would need to be able to document the capacity of those meters to meet the credit criteria.

Hi Audrey,
Yes, agree with Marcus. You also need to consider the existing metering to comply with LEED requirement.
The existing meters and data collection system should have all the required advanced characteristics (i.e., recording interval, ability to record consumption and demand (electrical meters), data transmission capability, data collection and storage, remote data retrieval).
Required documentation (list of all advanced meters and manufacturers’ cutsheets) should be provided for all meters used to meet the credit requirements (both existing and new).
