What is required for documentation of material reuse?
In the Ref Guide (p.535), it says projects should track original location of the material before remove. However, it does not specify what documentation is required? Does anyone have experience documenting this aspect of the credit?

Hmm, I don't. Is it a required upload? It seems like something that could be tracked in a basic spreadsheet. If doing reclamation, photographic documentation by the crew wouldn't be bad to have on hand. Seems like a vague requirement.

Hi,
I have quite a similar concern. In my case, I am considering reusing salvaged structural timber. What documents can be used for differentiating reuse/salvaged wood from the Wood Products category?
Thank you so much.

I have documented this for salvaged (from the project site) brick and furniture that was moved from the old to the new location. We provided an inventory and statement in each case. In the spreadsheet we made clear it was salvaged/existing.
Per the reference guide, the distance is based on where it is purchased from or relocated from, if it is from on-site, the distance is '0'. See the guide book for more information on calculating the distance.
