Hello, We hace just received the preliminary review comments for a Data Center. We used the Minimum Energy Performance Data Center Calculator spreadsheet in order to define the IT Server energy and Electrical Systems Efficiency Savings, and were able to show almost 70% in energy savings mainly because of the amount of virtual machines implemented in this Data Center. One of the review comments is that the outdoor air flow rates should be identical between baseline and proposed models, not proportional, but there is a huge difference in the internal heat gains between models (because of the virtual machines in proposed model) and hence also the amount of air flow rate is also very different, so entering the same amount of outdoor air does not seem very reasonable. Any suggestions? Comments?
