Schools-2009 SSc4.3:Alternative Transportation—Low-Emitting and Fuel-Efficient Vehicles

Designated Drop-off spaces

Can all preferred parking spaces for low-emitting and fuel-efficient vehicles also be carpool drop off spaces. Our current landscape drawings indicate 11 signs that state "Preferred parking for carpool and fuel efficient vehicles". I'm not aware of any requirement that these must be separate but any confirmation would be appreciated.

Matthew, I see a "dropoff area" and a parking space as two different things, and the credit language indicates you need both (there's an "and" in the language) to earn the credit. I don't think you can combine them.
