I have inherited multiple LEED registered projects, and it has been a while since I submitted anything for LEED. LEEDonline for two LEED v2009 projects under review is acting differently for each. One project is in Design Preliminary Review, and forms for credits that are "pending" show as complete. When I select the "In-Progress" option so I can edit them, I get a big warning about having to resubmit or withdraw the credit. Is it correct to go ahead and select that?
The other project is in Design and Construction final review, and the credits that are pending are not marked as complete and can be edited.

In my experience the only risk is selecting "in progress" for any credits that are already marked "anticipated." You really only want to do that if you have made some sort of design change that requires you to update your documentation. If you accidentally change an anticipated credit to "in progress" then I think you have to submit them for review again. When you say "In Design Preliminary Review" do you mean you got your Design preliminary review back and are in the process of responding?
changing any "pending" credits to "in progress" is fine, cause they need fixin' anyways.
