Hello! Here are a couple of things our team has been looking out for on this credit:   Ventilation Rates: Make sure you are using ASHRAE 62.1-2016 version or later for this credit — older versions often get picked by default. For warehouses, the default occupant density might be misleading if there’s intermittent staffing or special uses defined, so it might help to document that as it relates to your ventilation strategy. Filtration: MERV 13 or better is required for all recirculated air, not just outdoor air. If MERV 13 isn't achievable due to system limitations, the credit allows for an alternative if at least 5 total air changes per hour is provided to all regularly occupied spaces. Additional considerations:
  • For occupied warehouse areas, does continuous ventilation or Demand-Control Ventilation make more sense, given the occupancy?
  • In office & warehouse zones, consider using directional airflow strategies like low-wall returns where possible to help reduce cross-contamination between occupants.
Would be interested to hear how others are approaching it.
