Dedicated Exhaust Clarification

Hello, Could the exhaust of a high-density copy room be achieved via a 100% exhaust base building system? As the base building system is 100% exhaust, there is no recirculation of the contaminated air into other spaces. As such, the intent of providing dedicated exhaust for the copy room would seem to be achieved. The base building system would have an enthalpy wheel to recover energy. Thanks for your time.

I'm responding, but I will also ask Dylan if he has anything to add. The intent of the credit is to protect occupants outside of the copy room from emissions in that room. I think you are covered regarding exhaust, but the room still needs to be completely enclosed and under negative pressure.

Michelle nailed it. Yes you can combine the copy room exhaust with the base building exhaust. Sounds like you have a DOAS system - this is typical.
