we have a project with a led strip only for decorative purpose and not included in the luxes calculus. This led strip is located on the ceiling illuminating the roof. As this strip is only decorative can this apply for the additional power allowance? It will be like this:

The fixture appears to provide ambient illumination (uplighting the ceiling, in addition to what appear to be 8 downlights), although it clearly incorporates decorative elements. Are you suggesting that the entire fixture be exempted, or only the colored lights?
Any reviewer would probably need to consider the context of the entire lighting layout for the space (ensuring that the space would be properly lit without the addition of the decorative elements), so in your response it would be helpful to confirm if there is an ambient lighting system already in place or if these fixtures are also providing required space illumination. Also, a reviewer would also likely consider the magnitude of the exemption, so it would also be helpful to clarify if this is just a single fixture, or if there are multiples, and to state the combined wattage of the proposed exemption, in addition to the space type and the square footage.
