NC-v4 EAp2:Minimum energy performance

Data Center LEED Comment for PUE modeling

Hi , I submitted a Data center for LEED review in which I assumed that Data center load is operating is 100% at all the times in a year, now LEED is saying that I need to create 3  model one with Full IT loading, one with initial IT loading and baseline model with full IT loading. Has anyone gone through this, I was under the impression that we only have to model full IT load for both baseline and proposed.

I agree. Why should you have to model the intital loading and full loading when it is the same? Make sure this is clear to the reviewer. If you want some assurances you can ask the reviewer your question before you respond. Go to the contact us on the USGBC website.
