NC-2009 PIf3:Occupant and Usage Data

Is the daily average transients a calculation or estimation?

We are currently working on a office block and have managed to obtain a peak transient amount from the client of 60 transients. Would we be able to simply use a daily average estimation from the client as well, or would we have to calculate this? If so how does one calculate this for an office block running 240 days a year, 5 days a week and a working day is 8 hours.

If your client understands what you are asking for, then use the number they give you. Otherwise, you will have to estimate depending on program. For your project, the number of restaurants would vary the number of transients to your site. You'd get different results if your office building is just offices or if there is some other retail on the project site.
