Dear all,
We're working on a large C&S retail mall. We got the following preliminary design review comment for the PIf-3:
"It does not appear that all spaces have been included in the Default Daily Occupancy table, and therefore, it is unclear whether the default daily occupancy numbers have been calculated correctly based on Appendix 1 of the LEED Reference Guide. Note that all spaces (excluding parking) must be included in the default occupancy calculations, and that non-regularly occupied support spaces must be included in the gross area of the space type for which they are ancillary."
In the "Default Daily Occupancy" (table PIf3-4), does anyone know how should we account for spaces such as:
- the mall circulation areas
- Back of House areas
- the plant/servicing rooms
- small internal landscaping areas
Shall we exclude these from table PIf3-4 (treat them as unoccupied), or shall we add all these in the category "Retail General" of the table?
Many thanks!
