I am working on a C&S project in which most of the tenants are retail stores. To achieve this credit I am under the impression that complying spaces will be limited to office and administrative areas since retail space is not a shared multi-occupant space nor included in the IEQ Space matrix for EQc6. Therefore, 50% of only office spaces (tenant and CS) must comply with the requirements of the credit. Can anyone verify, and will a representative tenant floor plan be necessary? For example, If a retail tenant builds an office as a part of their fit-out does that need to comply with the requirement and/or be included in the lease agreement? The owner is providing mechanical equipment but not the ductwork. Thanks in advance.

Hi London - have you seen LEED for Retail? It might be helpful to reference, even if you're using LEED C&S.
