Creating Baseline building Shell based on ΑSHRAE 90.1-2010 - proposed building walls with more than 40% of glass

Hello to all LEED Users,

My proposed building has following percentage of glass at each orientation:

NE: 90% percentage of glass

SE: 90% percentage of glass

NW:  90% percentage of glass

SW:  0% percentage of glass

What will the percentage of Glass be at the baseline building:

Thought 1:

NE: 40% percentage of glass

SE: 40% percentage of glass

NW: 40% percentage of glass

SW:  0% percentage of glass

OR

Thought 2:

NE: 40% percentage of glass

SE: 40% percentage of glass

NW: 40% percentage of glass

SW:  40% percentage of glass

Or

Something else?

Thank you very much

Why does the SW have 0 glass in the proposed?

Hello Marcus, The proposed is the way the real building is designed, isn't it? At the SW the Architects of the project have no Glass....only wall Is there a restriction on that?

Sorry I wasn't clear about why I was asking. Yes the proposed needs to reflect the design. What I was really wondering is whether there was another building up against the SW side as that would make a difference in how you should approach it. If there is not a building or something else against that facade and this was just an architectural design choice then thought 2 is the correct approach. If there is a building against the SW then thought 1 is correct.
