Cove.tool

Hello, All,

Does anyone have experience with cove.tool (https://covetool.com/)?  Perhaps for those projects that may not get fully modeled, or as a tool to help set baselines?  It came across our radar recently, and I'm wondering if the subscription might be worth a try.

Thanks!

Maria

Hi Maria et al., I received three emails and a phone call from Covetool today. Lots of lofty promises but very little information. Seems like a sleek reincarnation of Sefaira to me. I told them that Lake Flato would not be interested.

Same here.  They emailed and called over the past months.  I agree that it sounds much like Sefaira and frankly, we don't really have time to even entertain a Web Ex with them.  The streamlining seems to always take away some accuracy with these tools.   Martine

They reached out to me after you started this thread, Maria, and I ended up doing their half hour/45 minute demo with them. The tool seems interesting, but it also appears to have some of the same limitations Sefaira and other early stage energy modeling tools have. That said, the gentleman I spoke with really hyped up their Revit interface and how their tool can work with Revit files which I’m somewhat curious about (our experience of getting Sefaira to work with Revit has not been awesome). I might make time to do the 30 day free trial at some point. Aley Allison Wilson F
