Covered Loading Dock - What is a parking space?

We are working on an urban alteration project which extends an existing building to cover an exterior loading dock, enclosing it within the new building. No parking is provided beyond the operations of the loading dock and night time storage of delivery vehicles. [a] What is a parking space? Does this area qualify?

Richard, while areas like this can sometimes fall into a gray area in LEED, I feel pretty confident saying that a loading dock would not be considered a parking space.
