Hopefully useful for everyone toward making more very high performance buildings. More updates to come, including interactive tools like a superspreadsheet.

All the best,

Hi All, To follow up on Tate’s announcement, COTE just Published a draft of the long awaited AIA COTE Top Ten Toolkit. Toolkit Executive Summary: “Limited access to high-quality, concise, and usable information is a major barrier to the universal adoption of sustainable design. The COTE Top Ten Toolkit is a resource, accessible to all architects, that closes the information gap to designing high performing, equitable, beautiful buildings. The toolkit is designed to provide relevant, general guidance to architects incorporating deep green principles from the beginning of every project.” This phase one release is a very rough draft and the development team would be trilled if you would download the document, review it, and provide us with feedback - either through the Survey Monkey link on the download page or directly to csquire@lakeflato.com and twalker@opnarchitects.com . The plan is for a final (graphic) version as well as a collection of resources and calculation tools to be published by the end of the year. You can download the document here: COTE Toolkit Thanks!
