Cooling tower fan power

Hi all, I am modeling a cooling tower the fan meets the requirement of Appendix G, but I am not sure what is the fan power should be used for the baseline, Should I use the same as proposed model fan power? or there is a calculation for that? Thank you,

Minimum 38.2 gpm/hp (maximum 0.0262 hp/gpm or 19.5 W/gpm) per Table 6.8.1G

Hi, In my energy modeling software, I can give only Bhp/ton. How can model the cooling tower fan? Please advise. Thanks....

Here is maybe something to try. Use a default value for Bhp/ton and run the model. In the modeling result you should find the auto-sized condenser water flow in gpm. Divide the gpm by 38.2 to determine the HP of the cooling tower fan. Then divide it by the auto-sized cooling capacity of the chiller or the tower depending on which "ton" is referenced in the Bhp/ton input. Hope this round-about method gets you what you need.
