Has anyone ever used a controlled burn to eliminate invasive species? Our project is considering this on a large area of the site that has several mature invasive species that will otherwise be difficult to eliminate. The proposed controlled burn would be done in accordance with state and local prescribed burn plans. The soil would then be amended as required prior to establishment of a native grasses and wildflowers.
