Contract requirements

I'm not sure if requiring teams to provide a 2-year contract is the right approach for this credit. I certainly understand the intent, but some projects may not want to lock in a service provider for 2 years, especially if they're just starting up a new organics collection program and haven't worked with that hauler before. Has anyone had difficulty (or success) with this particular requirement?

Hi Trista, The language of the credit states that the 2-year contract is not required if a contract is not required by the hauler. I have successfully earned this credit on two projects, both of which used a hauler without an official contract. Hope this helps!
