We are currently in our performance period for a project where a tenant fit out of a vacant floor is currently in the planning stages & construction may or may not start during our performance period (maybe mid-to late performance period, but the project has already been delayed once). My question is this - if we attempt this credit & and construction starts, but is not finished by the end of our performance period, then we won't meet the flush out documentation. Do you think we can still proceed with documenting how the plan has been implemented in the construction to date and note that when construction is complete (outside of the performance period) we will complete the flush out? Has anyone had any feedback from reviewers in this type of scenario?

Hi Jessica, you can pursue this credit under the situation you've described. Your proposed narrative / supporting documentation sounds great. You could also include information about the future flush out (e.g. calculations, planned duration, etc) to give the reviewers additional confidence that a compliant flush out will be completed when the fit-out is done.
