NC-v4 EQp1:Minimum indoor air quality performance

Constant volume AHUs - Monitoring requirements AHU status On/Off

Dear all,

 

i'm in the case of constant volume AHUs, the operating logic is ON/OFF. Regarding monitoring requirements for IAQ prerequisite, we have available the acquisition of each AHU's status ON/OFF signal to the Building Management System.

So, from BMS supervision, we can verify if AHU is on or off, so if the constant volume air flow rate is present through ducts.

Is it sufficient for monitoring requirements of the prerequisite?

in my experience on this, it sounds like you are meeting the prerequisite requirements for outdoor air monitoring of constant volume systems.
