Hi there, I registered the project I worked on in Austin, TX - Govalle Elementary School for the comprehensive composting pilot innovation point and I want to thank AISD for providing the required information to be able to pursue this point. For a large campus we worked on in Italy, we submitted this credit. The credit seems to be easy to achieve because large part of credit requirements is aligned with local regulation regarding collection of recycables and organic waste.

We incorporated source‑separated food‑scrap composting in the newly constructed zoo administrative building to align with the zoo’s existing campus‑wide composting program. This integration supported consistent organic waste diversion practices across office and operational facilities. This LEED Pilot Credit supported discussions with stakeholders during design and implementation and aligned with the Owner’s Project Requirements for consistent organic waste diversion.
