The credit language states that the composite wood category includes all particleboard, medium density fiberboard, hardwood veneer plywood, and structural composite wood not included in the flooring, ceiling, wall panels, or furniture material categories. If we are not pursuing one of those categories, do we need to include composite wood items from those categories in composite wood category? For example, if we are not pursing the Wall Panels category, do we need to include wood doors in the composite wood category? Thanks in advance!

I have the same question...The way it's written appears to indicate that if you're not seeking the wall category, doors don't have to comply with anything. Is that accurate?

We have successfully achieved the composite wood category on projects that do not attempt the wall panel category and have not included the doors in the composite wood category documentation.

Thanks Allen. What products did you include? I just found a LI #10466 that excludes structural engineered wood from the general emissions evaluation. This doesn't leave many products in the composite wood category with doors excluded as well.

We included the MDF and particleboard products used for millwork.
