To meet the minimum requirements from section 4 to 7 of ASHRAE 62.1-2007, we must comply with section 5.4 "Ventilation System controls", and for this we should include controls that enable system to operate whenever the spaces served are occupied. The question is, what do we do with spaces that aren't occupied, such as corridors or storage rooms? Do we have to ventilate them permanently or just don't ventilate them?

If it is not an Occupiable Space per the definition in section 3, then you do not need to ventilate it.
