There is a data center with a complex occupancy (2 shifts). Day shift is 9 hours, 8:30-17:30; night shift is 15 hours, 17:30-8:30. There are 3 persons per shift. The people work for 7 days per week.
So the FTE occupant is (3*9*7+3*15*7)/40=12.6. Am I right?
How to calculate the peak occupant for shift overlap?

The number of days per week the project is occupied is taken into account in a different part of the form. Your building appears to be occupied 365 days a year.
The FTE is 9. Effectively you have (3) 8 hour shifts in 24 hours and 3 people staffed for all 24 hours (3 x 3 = 9). If you take out the 7 in your calculation above, you would get the same result.
Peak is 6 if all people are present when the new shift comes on. If they stagger, then your peak will be different.
