Hi,
I have a project with 40 atteched single family houses and the outdoor air supply is by natural ventilation through grilles on the facade.
This fact has implications on the achievement of the compartmentalization prerequisite? There is any additional measure that be necessary to accomplish with the prerequisite?
Thank you!

The blower door test is intended to measures air leakage through the wall, floor, and ceiling assemblies, the connections and joints between those surfaces, and any penetrations from pipes, wires, electrical boxes, etc. The testing standard says all openings to the exterior need to be closed during the test. Windows and doors are all checked, and vents to the exterior that are part of an air conditioner, bathroom & kitchen exhaust fans, or other ventilation equipment are often temporarily covered with plastic sheets and tape.
You'll want to confirm this with the company that is doing your testing, but it sounds as though your grilles would be considered part of the ventilation system and would be covered up during the test.
