CI-v4 EAc2:Optimize energy performance

COMNET Energy Star Equipment

I am looking for some help with the methodology for calculating savings for receptacle loads in a LEED energy model based on Energy Star Equipment. I have read the modelling guidelines (section 3.4.5) and COMNET Plug Loads Technical Support Document (TSD), but would like clarification on the following: - Do I need to use actual mean power from equipment in the proposed building I.e. nameplate data. OR - Can I use the values in "Table 8: Nominal Mean Power for Surveyed Devices" based on the number of PCs, monitors etc. that will be in the proposed building and use the column corresponding to the length of energy star commitment

I would think that if you are claiming savings it must be based on the actual equipment to be installed.
