CS-2009 SSc4.3:Alternative Transportation—Low-Emitting and Fuel-Efficient Vehicles

Common Preferred Parking Signage at Car Park Entrance

Did anyone have experience with implement this credit in Singapore? The percentage of low-emitting & fuel-efficient vehicles in Singapore is very high (easily above 50%) due to the government policy. So for our project, we are thinking about propose a common signage at car park entrance instead of each individual parking lots. E.g. A signage board that saying lot 1-80 is reserved for low-emitting & fuel-efficient vehicles only. We would like to hear from the experts here prior proposing to USGBC. Cheers.

This is also hard to say for sure, but I would lean towards no. Having a single sign at the park entrance would be much easier to miss than individual signs posted at each space. I would also think that it would be harder to enforce.
