In one of our projects the owner is willing to perform Fundamental and Enhanced Commissioning having one of their engineers that has the proper experience work on it.
They are wondering what would replace the contract document ensuring CxA involvement post-construction (that is required to be uploaded on LEEDOnline for enhanced commissioning) ?

I would have the owner develop a letter on letterhead stating that they are doing the commissioning, and perhaps a very short listing of the tasks being done as a part of the scope that match the requirements of EAp1 and EAc3. This is what I did when I was the CxA for our building project a few years ago, and it was accepted. Of course, there is a lot of other information to be uploaded for EAc3 that shows what was done in the process.
