Our project is a large office TI with all of the typical water fixtures such as wash closets, urinals, showerheads, sinks, etc. It will also have a large commercial kitchen and gym/exercise space within the projects scope, which the client would like to certify as well.
The language in the reference guide and on here seems to exclude these type of water fixtures if our project is not hospitality or retail. Additionally, the Water Use Reduction Calculator does not seem to have a category for these fixtures.
Is it reasonable to assume that we do not need to include commercial dishwasher, clothes washers, or any other high-usage plumbing fixtures in these spaces? Seems like a lot that is not being accounted for.

Alex, I'm not seeing the language you mean that suggests these would be excluded. If you look at the prerequisite language, it says that these appliances should be included if in scope.

Oh, I see. I got into this a little more and I think you're right. However, why not go ahead and include high-efficiency fixtures?

Thanks Tristan. We definitely should push for the best, but want to be sure what will be required for LEED credits!
