Coming up: Sustainability Leaders State of the Regions (Zoom event)

Mark your calendars! Wednesday March 9th, 3-4pm ET (12-1pm PT) - Sustainability Leaders State of the Regions.

We’ve seen a lot of momentum building around the potential for regional Sustainability Leaders groups, and we want to learn how best to support this activity. On this call, we’ll have a few currently active regional groups share their stories. Then we’ll evaluate our current regional boundaries and consider redrawing them if needed. Finally, we’ll nominate and select a few Regional Leaders from each area.

Please join us if you’re interested in making more local connections within the Peer Networks, and especially if you’d consider stepping up as a leader for your region. If you’d like to be a Regional Leader but can’t make the call, please let us know via email or a response to this post.

Great question Emi! This is for all networks. We’re hoping to talk about both network-specific groups, and also opportunities for cross-network pollination. In terms of Regional Leaders/Coordinators, the goal is a mixed group and we're hoping to have people from a couple different networks step up for each region. Other clarification questions are welcome, register here to join the conversation! We won't be recording the session, since much of the action will be happening in breakout groups.

Hello Green Gurus, This State of the Regions event is coming up next Wednesday! (March 9, 3pm ET/12pm PT). Many of you have expressed a desire to connect with fellow Sustainability Leaders in your geographic region, and several groups have already formed for this exact purpose. To help guide our exploration of this new frontier, we’re looking to assemble a cross-network group of Regional Coordinators. On this call we’ll take the pulse of current regional activity, examine our regional boundaries, and give you the chance to self-nominate as Coordinators.We recognize the value in both network-specific and cross-network connections at the regional level, so we’re looking for involvement from all five networks to explore the possibilities. These groups will be present and have agreed to share:
SDL Midwest (open to all networks) Puget Sound SCL Chicago SCL
