Hello Green Gurus,
Here are all the details about our two Peer Network events in Chicago on Tuesday, June 21st. If you'll be in town, we hope to see you!
From 1-5pm we'll have the Chicago/Midwest Region Mini-Summit, open to members of any of the five Peer Networks (Sustainability Consultants, Community Design Leaders, Contractors, Architects, and MEP Engineers). This is a chance to get (re)acquainted within and across our networks, dig into some locally relevant topics, and talk about the value and work of current/future regional groups. We'll be at the HKS office (125 S Clark St, #1100). Because this is a regional mini-summit, folks who work farther afield can join, with the knowledge that Chicago/Midwest Region-specific topics will be the focus.
Following the Mini-Summit, there will be a reception at 5:30pm and Show & Tell at 6:30. What is a Show & Tell? It’s an open sharing from our Peer Network members. Five minutes each, any topic that you want to share with your fellow Sustainability Leaders. Past presentations have included cool projects, big challenges, passion projects (work- or non-work-related), and more. A sampling of recordings are available on the Resources Page in the Peer Networks Hub (scroll to the bottom section).
To RSVP for the reception and Show & Tell, please fill out this form. This event is free and open to both Peer Network members and their guests, however space is limited so reservations are required. If you want to present, please indicate that when you sign up. We especially encourage anyone presenting at the AIA Conference that week to consider a 5-minute preview of their presentation.
