colleges and university sustainability programs

As I prepare to search for summer interns, I'm wondering what colleges and universities have programs for sustainability in the built environment. Are there any that you all know of? I am trying to find alternatives to the traditional architecture programs that we track. Thanks

Kate, Stanford has a Sustainable Design & Construction program in their Civil and Environmental Engineering Department if you're open to candiates with an engineering background rather than architecture.

Here's my list: 1. Stanford Sustainable design and construction 2. Arizona State University Sustainable Design and Construction  3. Carnegie Mellon Sustainable Design 4. Rochester Institute of Technology sustainable systems 5. Yale School of the Environment 6. UC Berkeley Civil Engineering 7. UC Santa Barbara Bren School 8. Duke School of the Environment   The last job I posted (focused on climate strategy, LCA, and data science), got over 160 applicants--about half of which were highly qualified and had some subject matter expertise. Lots of awesome talent out there, especially with all the tech layoffs (from Google's sustainability and REWS teams, for instance) in the last bit. If there's a specific thing you're hiring for, reach out; I'd be happy to forward some resumes.

I would also recommend the Master of Science in Regenerative Studies at the Lyle Center for Regenerative Studies in Cal Poly Pomona. Grad students are very passionate about sustainability, social issues, and food production among other things. The grad coordinator is James Blair at jblair@cpp.edu. Pablo La Roche Principal
