All the SMEPLs are invited to join in the conversation where we talk about things that rumble, squeal, gurgle and spark to our peers in the Design, Construction and Advisory peer networks, hoping to at least equal the fun had when the Construction Leaders were on the menu last month.
To quote from the inimitable Anne Hicks Harney announcement over on the Green Gurus Forum:
We had so much fun at our Contractor coffee talk that I reached out to our MEP friends to see if they would set up something similar. And they have agreed to host a talk on Thursday December 2, at 1-2pm EST. They will talk about decarbonizing buildings, on a schedule that keeps us under the 1.5° C limit and will also address strategies for the following:
- Convincing clients to want more than a cheap building.
- Hiring better MEP Engineers.
- Working with MEP Engineers to assure that everyone’s goals are met.
- MEP and Building Embodied Carbon - how to leverage that to change our gut microbes, so we save the world, again.
Beverages will be optional, hats are required.
