CI-v4 EAp2:Minimum energy performance

[CI Energy Modeling] Receptacle Energy on Landlord Side

Hi,

My project is a CI project, and scope is 2 story office area(22-24 floor) in a 30floor commercial building.

In the case of tenant-level energy simulation, should energy consumption/savings include landlord side receptacle energy consumption such as Lifts?

Even lifts are under the landlord, tenants use the lifts.

Reference Guide says "Projects must include all energy consumption and cost withing and associated the tenant project"

Therefore, my interpretation for this project is:

1. Include lift in the energy consumption

2. Allocate lift consumption proportionally using area or occupancy?

Do you guys think this is correct or any other opinion?

Thank you in advance.

Lifts are not a part of the scope of work for the CI project so they do not need to be modeled. While base building HVAC system do need to be modeled if they directly affect the energy use of the space, lifts do not directly affect energy use in the space. The lifts should be accounted for in a CS model of the building (if applicable).
