CS-v4 EAc3:Advanced energy metering

Chilled water from on-site electric chiller plant

Hi all,

If a core and shell building has an electric chiller plant supplying chilled water to all tenant floors’ AHUs, is the chilled water considered as another type of energy source and therefore need to be metered? Is the meter required for each tenant space? Thanks

Thanks, Marcus. What if the project in a core and shell office building which provides an empty open-plan office? How many chilled-water meters must be provided since the number of tenants is unknown?

The credit language says at least one meter per floor.
