Dear all,
developer decided to meet the requirement via option 2- installing electric charging station at our project. The requirement of 3% of total parking capacity equipped with charging station is mostly clear. However, we are quite lost with vehicle fueling capacity per station within 8 hours. How are the parameters determined for fueling capacity in 8hrs? Are we supposed to calculate a car which is fully discharged (charging from 0 to 100%)? In fact we do not think that visitor/employee will come to the charging station with fully discharged vehicle. Most important electric cars are different. Is there any "standard electric vehicle" we should count with? Which reserved power should we consider? Someone any advice, please?
Thanks.

Ultimately it depends on the battery size, the acceptance rate, and the output rate however I have assumed ~4 hours for a Level 2 charger and ~30 minutes for a DC Fast Charger. You can look at some charts and see what is typical for the EV station type and kW output of station the project is installing.
v4 has removed the vehicle fueling capacity component to this credit and instead has a minimum EV output and is a straight EV count.

I read a chart with different charging times for different type of EV vehicles and I don't know if 4 hour for a Level 2 charger seems plausible, even if I did an average estimation. Allison, what was your rule of thumb for that charge time?
