NC-2009 RPc1:Regional Priority

changes to Regional Priority credits

The credits available for regional priorities on the link above and the credits available on LEEDonline do not tally for my project. The link above provides a list of regional priorities but does not provide the min points to be obtained to obtain the regional points. Has anyone else come across this situation or have any clarification regarding this difference? Thanks Devani

I couldn't find answer for it too but now I presume that once you attempt a credit of Regional Priority and achieve any point (1,2,3 or exemplary performance point etc) you get the extra 1 point of the RP. This means just attempt the credit and achieve a single point and you will get another point for the RP.

Is your project in the U.S.? If so you can find the threshold here http://www.usgbc.org/rpc There are specific thresholds listed for your particular zip code. For example, in Atlanta we earn a Regional Priority credit for 40% water use reduction but not for a 30% reduction. "USGBC has prioritized credits for projects located in the U.S., Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Guam. All other international projects should check the database for eligible Regional Priority credits." -http://www.usgbc.org/node/1732600?return=/credits/new-construction/v2009/regional-priority

Kathryn, This means that my understanding is incorrect and there is some specific threshold to achieve before achieving the RP point.
