I have a project in Europe that will be naturally ventilated. Unfortunately, under the Europe ACP: Naturally Ventilated Spaces, the existing windows do not comply with the minimum required ventilation opening area.
From my understanding, this appears to be a prescriptive compliance path. Is there any possibility of demonstrating compliance with the indoor air quality requirements through a CFD analysis instead? If so, are there any specific requirements, guidance, or accepted methodologies that should be followed?
