CI-v4 MPR2:Must use reasonable LEED boundaries

Certify only one floor among three floors that are rented

Would you please advise if one newly acquired floor of a 3-floor office eligible to get certified under LEED v.4 Commercial Interiors (see details below)? - A company XYZ has been renting 2 adjacent floors in a large office building for the past 7 years. - It is planning to expand and is going to rent one more floor at the same building adjacent to two others previously rented. - The new floor is going to get renovated and comply to LEED v.4 CI requirements. - Two "old" floors are going to get very minor alterations. = Question: Is it allowed to certify only one floor among three floors that are rented by the same company since this newly acquired space will undergo a complete renovation? Thank you.

Yes, I would say this is okay. The LEED language doesn't specify that there has to be a boundary in terms of ownership, only some distinct physical boundary.
